Targeted assessment of the metabolome in skeletal muscle and in serum of dairy cows supplemented with conjugated linoleic acid during early lactation

In the dairy cow, late gestation and early lactation are characterized by a complexity of metabolic processes required for homeorhetic adaptation to needs fetal growth milk production. Skeletal muscle plays an important role in this adaptation.
